Bill and Vada Ann (Truax) McPheeters will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Peabody Senior Center, 106 Walnut.
The couple were married Nov. 19, 1954, in Wichita. They farmed in rural Peabody until retirement in 1993, when they moved to the city of Peabody.
The open house will be hosted by daughter Pam Carter, her husband Bruce and granddaughter Alyssa Carter.
