Joel and Parrish Smith of Hillsboro announce the birth of a daughter, Tayton Elizabeth, born Sept. 3 at Newton Medical Center.

She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.

She has one sister, Teagon, 18 months.

Grandparents are Robert and Grace Ritzenthaler of Tampa, Fla., and Pete and Dorothy Smith of Newton.

Wyatt Dean Helmer

Aaron and Traci Helmer of Marion announce the birth of a son, Wyatt Dean, born Oct. 4 at Newton Medical Center.

He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long.

He has one sister, Jenna Marie, 3 1/2.

Grandparents are Darrel Helmer and Bud and Chris Radtke, all of Marion.

Jon and Lynette McLean of Goodland announce the birth of a daughter, Josie Anne, born Oct. 25 at Goodland Medical Center.

She weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long.

She has one brother, Cade, 5, and one sister, Maggie, 4.
