Joseph and Jennifer Silhan of rural Marion announce the birth of a son, Michael William Gerard, born July 20 at Newton Medical Center.
He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.
He has one sister, Emily Fay, 16 months.
Grandparents are Ed and Therese Silhan of rural Marion and Gerard and Julie Lowrance of Osage City.
Great-grandparents are Glen Crowley of Williamsburg and Gerald and Eileen Lowrance of Farber, Mo.
