Jacob Lengerich

Jacob Matthew Lengerich, 2, died March 13 in Weipa, Queensland, Australia.

The service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Arvada, Colo.

He was born Feb. 20, 2005, to Matthew David and Heather Jo (Dies) in Steamboat Springs, Colo.

He is survived by his parents; his sister, Samantha; grandmothers Sharon Dies of Lehigh and Judy Lengerich of Loveland, Colo.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Jacob Lengerich Memorial Fund has been established in care of the Northwest United Federal Credit Union in Denver at 6320 Olde Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003, from which funds will be donated to organizations working with special needs children and in the fight against epilepsy.

Bernice Price

Bernice Lou Price, 85, former co-owner of Price Well Service and Price Liquor Store, died March 25 at the Cedars in McPherson.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Eastside Cemetery in Hutchinson with Jack Smith officiating.

She was born Nov. 4, 1921, to Fred and Bertha Mae Gordon Krueger in Reno County. She was married to Fred H. Price, who died in 1980. She was a Canton resident since the 1950s.

She is not survived by any immediate relatives.

A memorial has been established with McPherson Humane Society in care of Olson’s Mortuary in Canton.

Gunvor Severs

Gunvor M. “Gunnie” Severs, 83, retired model and fashion show coordinator, died March 19 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.

The memorial service was March 23 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Newton. Her remains will be buried at Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown, N.Y.

She was born July 6, 1923, to Regner and Annie Johnson in Jamestown, N.Y.

Her first marriage was to Kenneth Rawald. Her second marriage was to Gene Severs, who predeceased her.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Loveless of Antelope and Brita Gali of Captain Cook, Hawaii; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Annie Jean Winkley

Annie Jean Winkley, 85, farm wife and homemaker, died March 20 at Golden Living Center in Marion.

The service was held March 23 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion with pastor Vernon Bowers officiating. Burial was in Marion Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 17, 1922, to Louis and Ruby (Richardson) Christensen in Marion. On Sept. 28, 1941, she was married to Lawrence Winkley, who survives in Marion.

Survivors also include two sons, William of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Jerry of Valley Center; a daughter, Ruby McElfresh of McGowan, Texas; a sister-in-law, Eunice Christensen of Marion; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with Eastmoor United Methodist Church, the Arthritis Foundation and the Diabetes Foundation, in care of Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
