The Marion County Retired Teachers and School Personnel will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Senior Center. Connie Isaac, featured speaker, will present "Learning in Retirement."

Mary McFadden, registered nurse, will be available for foot care and blood pressure testing on Monday, Sept. 8, at the Senior Center. Seniors are asked to call for an appointment if they want foot care.

Those who volunteered their time at the Senior Center last week were the following:

Kitchen: Gladys Jantz, Nellie Jost, Irma Groening, Louise Rahe, Margaret Funk, Betty Bernhardt, Kim Friesen, Lydia Pankratz, Mariann Unruh and Vi Suderman.

Meal drivers: Lonn Richards, Pearl Hadley, Ken Jost and Ray Matz.

FISH transportation: Gladys Schmidt, Albert Fadenrecht and Malinda Suderman.

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 3

Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, cucumber and onions, whole-wheat roll, cantaloupe.

THURSDAY, Sept. 4

Oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, cucumber and tomato salad, cinnamon roll, peaches.

FRIDAY, Sept. 5

Smothered steak, vegetable-noodle casserole, peas and onions, whole-wheat roll, poke cake.

MONDAY, Sept. 8

Sloppy joe, baked potato, peas, bun, pears.

TUESDAY, Sept. 9

Roast pork, sweet potatoes, seasoned cabbage, bread dressing, fresh fruit.

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 10

Taco salad or burger, broccoli Normandy with burger, Amish sugar cookie.

MONDAY, Sept. 8

Exercises 11:15 a.m.

Swiss steak, au gratin potatoes, peas, whole-wheat roll, butterscotch squares.

TUESDAY, Sept. 9

Lasagna, tossed salad, garlic bread, Mandarin orange Jell-O.

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 10

Anniversary dinner.

Hamburger on a bun, sliced tomatoes, baked beans, watermelon.
