Ray and Sylvia Abrahams of Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 with an open house at Hillsboro First Mennonite Church.
The Abrahams were married Nov. 30, 1947, in Hillsboro.
The event will be hosted by their children, Beverly Klein of Fort Collins, Colo., Kim Abrahams of Hillsboro, Rex Abrahams of Canton, and Dawn Abrahams of Moundridge. The couple also has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Jona and Mary Baltzer of Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church fellowship hall, 300 Prairie Pointe.
The Baltzers were married Oct. 30, 1947, at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro. They have two children, Carol and Dwayne Janzen, and Doug and Shirley Balzer; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Levi and Georgia Brown of Hillsboro will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 3.
The Browns were married in 1942 in Marion. They have two children, JoAnn Taku of San Jose, Calif., and Jerald Brown of Whiteville, Tenn; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
