Donald E. and Jane Hiebert of rural Newton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at the 1904 Preparatory School in Goessel.
Donald E. Hiebert and Jane Klassen were married May 25, 1957, at the First Presbyterian Church in Halstead. He is a lifelong farmer and she is a homemaker and retired teacher.
The open house is hosted by their children and grandchild: Keven, Debra, and Lauren Hiebert of rural Newton; Natalie Hiebert of Tribune; and Chad and Marjean Deines of Goodland.
Eugene and Marge Christensen of Marion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion.
Eugene and the former Marion Regier were married May 19, 1957, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Marion.
Hosts will be their children, Tim and Michon of Marion, Ann and Randy Crask of Girard, Jay and Cheryl of Marion and Amy and Burton Harshman of Marion; and nine grandchildren.
An open house is planned for 2 p.m to 4 p.m. May 6 at the Canton Fire Station to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary of Roger and Terra (Vogts) Regehr.
Roger and Terra were united in marriage May 2, 1982, at the Canton United Methodist Church.
Roger is employed at Cessna in Wichita. Terra works at the K-State Research and Extension Office in McPherson.
Their children are Travis and Ted, both of Canton.
The couple requests no gifts.
