The results of the pre-season Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball and softball coaches polls were released last Wednesday.

Tabor was picked to finish seventh among the seven conference baseball programs. The softball team was projected to finish eighth among nine teams.

A 1-1 week put the Tabor College women’s basketball team in third place in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. After taking care of business against Bethel with a 67-50 win, the Bluejays pushed Sterling to three overtimes Saturday.

A well-rounded effort by Southwestern put the Tabor College men’s basketball team on the low end of a 46-29 score following a very physical first half in Winfield Saturday. The Moundbuilders went on to win by a final tally of 76-58.
