Wichita Thursday, then gave conference-leading Ottawa a stern test
Saturday in Hillsboro before falling 81-79.
The Tabor College baseball team hosts its first homestand of the season this week, with twinbills set for Friday against Dana College and Saturday against Mount Marty.
Sarah Wyckoff, Blackwell, Okla., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Tabor College next season.
Wyckoff, a forward at Blackwell High School, was a member of the 2007 and 2008 Wheat Capital all-tournament team. She also won the Wendy’s High School Heisman in 2008.
Wyckoff was the valedictorian of her class and was made a member of the national and state honor societies.
Tabor head coach Shawn Winter said, “We are blessed to have Sarah spend the next few years to Tabor. She has a lot of potential as a college basketball player, is strong academically and will be a leader on out campus.”
The Tabor College women’s basketball team enters the seventh week of conference games tied for fourth in the KCAC after a split week against Saint Mary and McPherson.
The Tabor College men’s basketball team split contests with Saint Mary and McPherson this week, falling to the Bulldogs 71-63 at home and bouncing back with a 70-64 road win over the Spires.
