Canton-Galva vs. Goessel—The Bluebirds took a 24-22 lead into halftime and used a 15-3 third quarter to seize control of the game.

Led by Ted Regehr, the Eagles put together a 14-7 rally in the fourth during which Regher scored seven of his 20 points on the night.

With a 56-47 loss at Haven and a 71-34 loss at Collegiate, the Marion boys’ basketball team had a difficult weekend. The Warriors hosted Smoky Valley Feb. 12, posting a 67-62 loss in the season’s home finale.

Hillsboro’s John Hein maneuvers against Dillon Ward of Clearwater at the Remington Invitational on Saturday. Hein contributed to the Trojan team title with a third-place finish in the 189-pound class.

The Hillsboro wrestling team added an exclamation point to the end of its regular-season schedule Saturday by claiming its third straight tournament title, this time at the Remington Invitational.
