Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center. We hope you will make it a point to join us for food, fun and fellowship this week.
We will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 3. Tuesday, Sept. 4, Mary McFadden will be here for Foot Care starting at 9 a.m. Call and make your appointments today. Noreen Weems will be our guest speaker after lunch on Wednesday, Sept. 5. She will share her thoughts on serving seniors for 27 years.

Commondities will be distributed starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23. Join us Friday, Aug. 24 as Carol Wituk comes and shares about the benefits of massage. Monday, Aug. 27 is our Birthday Dinner. Josh and Lisa Wesner will share special music after lunch. Women are invited to Games, Gab and Goodies after lunch on Wednesday, Aug. 29.

Thursday, Aug. 16, we will show “The Wizard of Oz” after lunch. Men’s Coffee will start at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17. Monday Aug. 20 is Hawaii Day. We encourage seniors to wear any Hawaiian clothing they have into the center. Tuesday, Aug. 21, we will have Show and Tell after lunch. Please bring something from your school days to share.

Friday, Aug. 10, will be “Smores Day” at the Hillsboro Senior Center. We will share some fun facts about this campfire treat.

Wednesday, Aug. 15, is our carry-in meal. Bring your own table settings and a main dish or dessert to share. Dr. Zafar will start hearing checks at 11:15 a.m. and Chief Judge Michael Powers will be our guest speaker after the noon meal. He will give an overview of our judicial system.
