The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Stephanie Wait, Kansas City. The groom is the son of Frank and Joyce Ashley, Goessel.
Jessica Anne Ratzloff, Lehigh, and Brandon David Sidebottom, Wichita, were married at 4 p.m. June 16, at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church with pastor Nancy Douglas officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Lloyd and Debbie Ratzloff, Lehigh. The groom is the son of David and Debra Sidebottom, Parker, Colo.
Maid of honor was Mandy Ratzloff, Nashville, Tenn., sister of the bride, and bridesmaid was Danielle Johnson, Hillsboro, friend of the bride.
Best man was David Ratzloff, Lehigh, brother of the bride, and groomsman was Ryan Parr, Springfield, Mo., friend of the groom.
The flower girl was Alyssa Steele, cousin of the groom.
A dinner and dance reception at the Hillsboro American Legion followed the ceremony.
The bride graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2004 and from Barton County Community College with an associate’s degree in 2006. She is a senior at Wichita State University.
The groom graduated from Highlands Ranch High School, Highlands Ranch, Colo., in 2003. He is employed by United Parcel Service.
Following a honeymoon to the Caribbean on a cruise ship, the couple resides in Wichita.
Sarah Sedlock and Garrett Call were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m., May 19 at Central Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Mo.
Parents of the couple are William and Barbara Sedlock of St. Louis and Patrick and Karen Call, Haven.
Matron of honor was Allison Whitley of Houston, Texas. Bridal attendants were Lauren Grogan, Boston, Mass., Sara Ellison, New York , N.Y., all friends of the bride, and Holly Sedlock, sister-in-law of the bride, St. Louis.
Best man was Phillip Whitley, Houston. Grooms attendants were Jason Bishop, Seattle, Wash., Robert Ward, Des Moines, Iowa, Jose Vitteri, Los Angeles, Calif., all friends of the groom.
Ushers were Mark Solis, friend of the groom, Kansas City, Mo., and Nicholas Sedlock, St. Louis, brother of the bride.
A dinner and dance followed the wedding at the Frontenac Hilton in St. Louis.
The bride graduated from Villa Duchesne High School, St. Louis, Mo.; Boston College, Boston; and Loyola University Chicago and Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago.
She is currently in family practice medical residency at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Va.
Garrett graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2001 and the University of Kansas, Lawrence. He is currently completing his master’s degree in systematics, macroevolution and biodiversity at KU.
After a wedding trip to the Polynesian Islands, the couple is at home in Newport News.
Jennifer Lenae Walker of Hillsboro and Shawn Thomas Bruner of Nicholasville, Ky., were married April 7 in Maple Hill.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Jane Walker of Hillsboro. She is the granddaughter of Elenora Walker of Peabody and the late Elsie Myers of Hillsboro.
The groom is the son of Larry and Teresa Bruner of Nicholasville. He is the grandson of Maxine Mulcahy of Nicholasville, Bruce Mulcahy of Lancaster, Ky., Eva Goldey of Nicholasville and the late Tommy Bruner.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by sisters Dena Mautz and Bridget Gladman. The bride’s niece, Ava Gladman, participated as the flower girl.
Groomsmen were Nolan Bruner, brother of the groom, and Daniel Thompson, friend.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in Manhattan.
The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University and is employed at the Women’s Health Group in Manhattan.
The groom is a sergeant in the U.S. Army and is stationed at Ft. Riley.
