Parents of the couple are Duane and Sharon Adrian of Butterfield and Paul and Chris Unruh of Hesston. Grandparents of the bride-elect are LeRoy and Alice Funk of Goessel, and Margaret Adrian and the late John Adrian of Butterfield. Grandparents of the groom-to-be are Eva Mae Andres of North Newton and the late Harold K. Andres and Belva Unruh of North Newton and the late Verney Unruh.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Butterfield-Odin High School and a 2008 graduate of Bethel College in North Newton. She has accepted a position teaching vocal music at St. Mary’s school in Newton. The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Hillsboro High School, attended Bethel College, and is a 2007 graduate of the New York Film Academy. He is employed at IMG Productions in Wichita.
The couple will be married Aug. 9 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Newton.
David and Yvonne Whitehill of Latham announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Marelle, to Scott Norman Winter, son of Norman and Gloria Winter of Hillsboro.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ronald and Vera Bailey-Cunningham of Toronto, the late Donald F. Bailey of Burden, and Vada and the late Harvey Whitehill of Latham.
The future groom is the grandson of Owen and Betty Modeland of Oklahoma City, and the late Carl and Norma Winter of Durham.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Central Junior Senior High of Burden and earned a bachelor of science degree in animal sciences and industry from Kansas State University. She is pursuing a degree at KSU College of Veterinary Medicine.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Hillsboro High and earned a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness from KSU. He is a financial analyst at Frontier Farm Credit in Manhattan.
April Funk and Tyler McKim, both of Red Bluff, Calif., were married April 19 at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, with John G. McKim, uncle of the groom, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Kurt and Ruth Funk of Hillsboro and Tim and Bernadette McKim of Red Bluff.
Maids of honor were Jessica Funk and Cheryl Prieb, both friends of the bride. Brides-maids were Hailey Ishida and Amanda Hagen, both friends of the bride.
Best men were Justin McKim, brother of the groom, and Brian Kimsey, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were John Ohm and Brian Kimsey, both friends of the groom.
Flower girl was Reese Hefley, cousin of the bride, and ringbearer was Parker Schultz, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Nathan, Daniel and Tim Funk, brothers of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall.
A California reception was held June 7 at Sacred Heart Parish School in Red Bluff.
The bride graduated in 2007 from Tabor College with a degree in business administration, accounting/finance and management. She is employed at Sierra Pacific Windows in Red Bluff.
The groom also graduated in 2007 from Tabor with a degree in health, physical education and sports management. He is self-employed in Red Bluff, where the couple reside.
Sara Hamm and Tyler Goldsby were married Aug. 3, 2007, at St. John Nepomucene Church in Pilsen.
The ceremony was officiated by Father Dan Scheetz, great-uncle of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of James and Myrna Hamm of Tampa. The groom is the son of Alan and Michelle Goldsby of Hillsboro.
Grandparents of the bride are Gaylord and Alera Hamm of Durham and George and Evelyn Youngers of Garfield.
Grandparents of the groom are Raymond and Ardith Scheetz and Marion and Jeannie Goldsby, all from rural Norton County.
Maid of honor was Rachelle Goldsby, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Gina Andrew, Marissa Diener, Chelsi Carlson and Venessa Steere.
Kirsten Cederberg served as personal attendant. Flower girl was Hailee Scheetz, cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at the Herington Community Building. After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Manhattan where they both attend Kansas State University.
