Don and Gayla Ratzlaff of Hillsboro and Rob and Sharon Arnold of Olathe announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Emily Ratzlaff and Cooper Arnold.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Hillsboro High School and this fall will begin her junior year at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
The groom-to-be graduated from Olathe South High School in 2005 and will be a junior at the University of Kansas.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 4 at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ron and Dena Braun of North Newton. She graduated from Tabor College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is employed as an English as a second language teacher with the Kansas City public schools.
Her fiance is the son of Ed and Kathy McAtee of North Newton. He graduated from Southwestern College with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and is employed as a teacher and coach at Shawnee Mission East High School.
The wedding is planned for July 21 at Rainbow East Mennonite Church in Kansas City.
Jacey Boese of Newton and Darren Anderson of Galva announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Alan and Sharon Boese of Lehigh. She graduated from Hillsboro High School and from Bethel College in December 2003. She is a student at Newman University.
Her fiance is the son of Frank and LaJane Anderson of Galva. He graduated from Canton-Galva High School and from Bethany College in 2005. He is employed at Vern Winter Body Shop in McPherson.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 18 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church.
