The future bride, daughter of Morris and Linda Ewert of Wichita, is a Newman University graduate and kindergarten teacher at Harry Street Elementary in Wichita.
The groom-to-be, son of Steve Knowles of Goddard and Linda Higgins of The Colony, Texas, is sales manager at Mid Continent Credit Services in Wichita.
The couple plan to be married June 13, 2009, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral in Wichita.
Ken and Delores Johnson of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Johnson, to Jedidiah Fleske, son of Alfred and Elizabeth Fleske of Larned and Diana Fleske of Great Bend.
The bride-elect, also the daughter of the late Norris and Alna Bolding, is a 2004 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2008 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in elementary education. She is employed by the Ft. Larned school district.
The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Larned High School and a 2006 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in agribusiness. He is self-employed.
The wedding is planned for July 12 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
