Earl G. Stubby, 80, retired electrical worker of Newton, died Oct. 22. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. Burial with military honors will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main, Newton.
