John D. “Dan” Ellis, 65, a fast food cook, died Oct. 9 at Peabody Care Center.

A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence with pastor Larry Timm officiating.
