DEATH: Dale L. "Swede" Carlson, 86

Dale L. “Swede” Carlson, 86, of Herington, part owner and operator of an oil company, died Oct. 2 at McPherson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at St. John Lutheran Church, 220 Sixth St., Lincolnville, with pastor Alan Stahlacker officiating.

Burial will follow at Lost Springs Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, Herington. A pray service follows at 7 p.m., also at the chapel.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church of Lincolnville and sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory, 404 S. Broadway, Herington, KS 67449-3038.
