Class 3A regional baseball seeding: Marion No. 1, Hillsboro No. 6

The Marion High School baseball team has earned the No. 1 seed at the seven-team Class 3A regional tournament hosted by Sacred Heart High School May 14 and 16.
As such, the Warriors (15-5) will receive a bye in Monday’s first round and won’t play until the semifinal round at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, against the winner of Monday’s game between No. 4 Moundridge (10-10) and No. 5 Ellsworth/Wilson (7-9).
On the other side of the bracket, Hillsboro (No. 6, 8-12), will play No. 3 Sacred Heart (14-6) at 4 p.m. Monday. The winner of that game will move on to play at 4 p.m. Wednesday against the winner of Monday’s game between No. 2 Southeast of Saline (13-5) and No. 7 Lyons/Chase (7-13).
All games will played at Dean Evans Stadium located at East Crawford and Markley Road in Salina.
