Raymond B. Davidson, 92, of Florence, who provided entertainment for the Flint Hills Overland Park wagon train, died May 6 at Asbury Park in Newton.
A private burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence.
A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
He was born Sept. 28, 1919, to James E. and Mary Etta Boyd Davidson at Walnut. On Jan. 26, 1947, he was married to Eleanor Grimwood, who survives.
Other survivors include sons Steve and Judy of Newton and Jeff and Kelley of Eureka; four grandchildren; brother Joe of Denver, Colo., and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Florence Public Library and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.
