Ribbon-cutting signals official opening of Panda Kitchen restaurant in Hillsboro

Members of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce gathered Thursday morning for a ribbon-cutting on behalf of the Panda Kitchen Restaurant located at 107 W. Grand in Hillsboro. Owners Julie and George Yang (nearest the bow) prepare to make the ceremonial cut. The restaurant enjoyed an enthusiastic response on opening day, from a busy buffet lunch to a long line extending from the doorway during the dinner hour. The Yangs also have Panda Kitchen restaurants in Hutchinson and Hesston.
