DEATH: Wayne Ewert

Wayne Ewert, 52, a geophysicist, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, at St. Vincent?s Hospital in Billings, Mont.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at Hope United Methodist Church, 244 Wicks Ln., Billings, MT 59105. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at Michelotti- Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave, Billings, MT 59102.

He was born Nov. 19, 1946, to Doris and Harold Ewert in Marion. On Sept. 1, 1967 he was married to Linda McElwain, who survives him.

He is also survived by his mother, Doris Ewert of Marion; mother-in-law Charlotte of Hutchinson; children Shane and wife Robbyn, Shannon and husband Dirk; brothers Max and wife Gerri of Gunnison, Colo., Gene and wife Kathy of Neodasha and Gary and wife Elaine of Marion; sister Donna and husband Jerome Hajek of Marion, sister-in-law Toni and husband Richard of Hutchinson; brother-in-law Chuck and wife Dina of Alturas, Calif.; four grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials can be made in his name to Hope United Methodist for either the Hope Chancel Choir, Children?s Playground Fund or Montana Geological Society.
