Linda Goertzen, 85, of Goessel, died March 4 at Newton Medical Center, Newton.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. March 8 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel, with pastors Linda Ewert and Steve Schmidt officiating.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 7, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, 1304 Kansas Highway 15, Goessel.
She was born Oct. 11, 1928, to Peter and Anna Schmidt Bartel at Marion County. On Aug. 29, 1951, she was married to Milton Goertzen, who survives.
Other survivors include children Lynette and husband Stuart Penner of rural Hillsboro, Myron and wife Ruth Goertzen, Steve Goertzen, Rosemary Reimer and Tim and wife Judy Goertzen, all of rural Goessel, and Mark Goertzen and Suzanne Ehst, both of Constantine, Mich.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
