Joel and Dorothy Hanneman, rural Peabody, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 24. Their Joel and Dorothy Hanneman, rural Peabody, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 24. Their children are planning a special family celebration in the spring. Joel Hanneman and Dorothy Burgat were married Jan. 24, 1940, in Newton. They are retired from farming but still reside on their family farm of 55 years. The Hannemans children are Jim, Nathrop, Colo.; John, Lenexa; and Kay Epp, Bradshaw, Neb. They have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
