Seniors will leave by van at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, for the Cosmosphere. While there, they will view the Omnimax Theater presentation “Africa.” Lunch, shopping and a tour of the Cosmosphere are on the agenda. On Tuesday, Feb. 1, Richard Scheele will be doing foot care and blood pressures beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the center. After lunch, tax help will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. Liz Ryding is the VITA volunteer. The following volunteered their time at the center last week. Kitchen: Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Judy Malin, Velda Hiebert, Mariann Unruh and Fern Unruh. Meal drivers: Wilbur Hanneman and Paul Ediger. FISH transportation: Albert Fadenrecht, Liz Ryding, Art Unrau and Betty Bernhardt. SENIOR MENU Jan. 26: Roast pork, mashed potatoes/ gravy, spinach or cabbage, whole-wheat roll, pumpkin cake. Jan. 27: Chicken and rice, beets/orange sauce, apricots, whole-wheat muffin. Jan. 28: Hearty beef soup, tossed salad, crackers, cinnamon roll. Jan. 31: Sausage gravy, biscuit, hash brown potato, scrambled eggs, orange sections.
