The Hillsboro High School girls' basketball team lost in the Championship game of the Southeast of Saline The Hillsboro High School girls' basketball team lost in the Championship game of the Southeast of Saline Tournament, but it was not because of a lack of effort. The Trojans were simply outsized by Junction City, a 6A school, and lost to the powerful Bluejays 57-49. Hillsboro had plenty of opportunities throughout the game to make a comeback, but it was not to be. Angela Kroeker led Hillsboro with 22 points in the contest. She and teammate Jill Hein were named to the All-Tournament team.
