Jean Holmes, 75, homemaker, died Feb. 8 at Sandpiper Bay Health Center, Wichita. Graveside services Jean Holmes, 75, homemaker, died Feb. 8 at Sandpiper Bay Health Center, Wichita. Graveside services were held Feb. 8 at Marion Cemetery, with Brad Hansen officiating. She was born June 1, 1924 to Charles and Maude Taylor McKinney in Topeka. On March 18, 1942, she was married to Bill Holmes, who predeceased her. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Navrat, Newton, and Tina Williams, Pinetop, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established for the Marion Library.
